Gregory Tsouris
with a mix of yellow/pale yellow oil color, not thinned. it was applied with a piece of clothe or tissue and the excess was wiped off with kitchen roll. simple! Iin case unwanted strike lines appear (happened in a place where gloss varnish did not have proper cover up) they can easily be taken off witha cotton bud dipped in turpentine or white spirit. for the vertical panel lines where the exhaust stain is, i used a dark brown wash. hope this helps, Greg
