So lets start with my first 48 scale build😉
It looks like a not to hard to build kit with really nice details.

One question: Which diometer should I use for lead wire in the cockpit?
Ive bought now 0,3mm, 0,4mm and 0,6mm - should be ok or what you think?

seriously though, most cables in the back of an instrument panel will be less than half an inch, most will be about a quarter of an inch and at 1/48th scale that will be 0.25mm & 0.125mm respectively,
I'd use your thinnest guage 🙂

😢
The cockpit is now alomost finished.
The belts and one clear coat are missing and after that its done.
Its a really nice kit so far and a good way to start in the 48th scale range.

Body and wings are now glued and filled (maybe the wings will get some too)
Tomorrow I will paint the cockpit area in green again and after that I will apply grey as a primer.

Masking of the canopy is down (the rear window is fixed- thx to the marco pic!)
And no paint the frame green and after that comes the primer.

Btw a little tutorial how you can easily mask the canopies without big trouble - maybe it will help somebody.

I really like working with it.
Used it directly from the bottle and the result is stunning in my opinion.
My setting was not really correct (it needs a 0,4 needle and at least 25 psi / 1,7bar and I used a 0,3 needle and 1,2 bar), but it still worked good - even it clogged from time to time, but nothing you cant fix.
I dont no how the Vallejo Primer is, but this stuff is based on the Badger Primer.
Sad thing is that you can only order it in UK, but the price is still ok after all.

hi, I tend to use AK interactive primer, it gives a good finish but I feel it doesn´t "bite" so well into the plastic, I had experienced some peel off during the masking for post shade, I have to work with extra care, so I started to use my Mr Surfacer 1000 as primer, thinning it down with tamiya lacqer thinner, the result is perfect and strong, but the smell and the cleaning process are issues, not very pratical but safe, I have heard good things about that badger stuff the stynylrez, but as I saw in the label it is polyurethane, I deduced it would be like Vallejo, what colors are you intending to use in this one?

I saw that they offered this stuff a 2 weeks back and ordered it directly.
The only stuff that doenst work with it, is their own cleaner.
I use the Gunze Thinner for it, which works much better.
The Ohka will be in operationial colors - so it will be IJN grey 😉

What a great Jinrai Baka! I think, the color is a little to dark, but this is only my point of view.

Thx Arne.
You may be right but I used IJN grey from Gunze.
Its probably because of the wash and the clear coat
