I jumped into 1:8 scale about a year ago - mostly screws and press-fit (1954 Mercedes 300SL) - subscription. I'm saving my glue for when I get time for it! And I just signed up for a Shelby Mustang 1:8 subscription. But I'm still using glue on the smaller kits.
