Hello Mates, started yesterday with my "Mega-Project", the A-6E from HB. To add more details I will use the Eduard Interior- and Exterior Sets. A lot of PE...but I want to build the A-6 in Super-detail (open hatches, radra-nose open, folded wings...etc.)!
I am satisfied with the first outcome - the cockpit.

I wish you all the best for your project and i'm sure we will see at the end a perfect Intruder.

Thank you very much Bart and Stefan for your motivating words! I made some progress today as well, the fuselage is put together and some PE-parts are on their place - a lot of fun, although the fitting of the two fuselage parts, specially the front section, is not good.

Thank you Christian and Marko!
Now the nightmare has begun, the fitting is really bad for a 75 EUR Kit! None of the seeming lines are fitting good, almost the whole fuselage has to be filled with putty! I think Hobby Boss is owing me some putty...😉

Thank you Mats and Jose!
Some update from the last days, looks good so far, only the big ugly seem-line on the top of the fuselage makes me not happy.

Hi Christian,
wow that really a lot of sanding, HB is owing you even some nerves AND putty! But regardless of the sanding session- your Intruder looks awesome so far! But its really annoying that a 75€ kit needs so much care...

ouch, is that how much that kit is ?
HB should at least provide some free sanding sticks and putty with the kit !!
and maybe chuck in a free scriber too 😄

Thank you very much for your motivating words my friends! I think the outcome will be nice, but it's not an amk-kit 😉
Vegard, you are correct, the Decals need also to be improved! Cheers, Christian
