Kezza, I found a picture collection on Aeroscale. I think your Do 335 has been shown on 6 slides at least! Congrats, buddy!

Yes Michael. The standard this year compared with previous events was such a delight to be part of.👍
With a new venue, the numbers through the door were up from 500 odd to almost 2000 now, and they did it for two whole days. 🙂

It was a really great turn out mate, and as you will see when I post the club pics, it is a hobby that really has not diminished all that much, and the number of times I saw people walking out with huge numbers of kits in plastic bags and the stocks from the vendors stalls literally disappear before your eyes was just amazing.
I am really looking forward to next year. hahahahaha🙂 👍

Maybe I might drive the 4 hours up the road next year and have a sticky beak.

THAT would be one thing I would love to see happen Michael. 🙂 🙂 🙂 👍
If you do, just see if there are any motels in the area, or, there is also the ability to camp there, with showers and café facilities on tap as well. 🙂

Sorry Mike. If you cant open it, I will cut and paste what it is. It's just the images of the 'stands' that they are making for the kits to stand on, like airfield and edge of runway textures. :-/ Not all that exciting, but interesting to those who like to have some options I guess. hehehehe

It was even better 'In the flesh" and talking to so many people about the Do-335. 🙂
The fact that it was on a turn table made it more 'accessible' as it was on a slow speed allowing the public more time to take it all in. 👍
I was so thrilled to be presented the award, as the standard is getting higher and better every year. 🙂

G'day Michael, and thank you for your congratz mate. 🙂 (I love surprises) hehehe.
The 1/48 F-4 by ZM has been on the books for quite a while from all reports, and apparently the 'test shot' has been done and finished for the publication in the 'Concept notes', and I am getting one as soon as they go on sale for sure, and I don't think they will be all that expensive. BNA in Melbourne stock ALL their stuff too. 🙂

You will just love the detail in them Mike, and there is also plenty of room for more enhancement, just the thing you love to do. 🙂 👍

Wow, a lot of excellent models and stand displays 👍 According to your additional information about the venue and number visitors it is good to know our hobby is not on retreat and the organizer was credited with so many visitors.
Thx for sharing and congratulations for your award – well deserved 👍
Cheers, Christian
P.S. photo no. 68. The painting was much impressive because of it's monochrome syle - excellent work!
