you have been busy, and got reallynice results, congratulations. i have a question, i am working on a completely black model, and i would love to get some suggestions to to give it more.... depth. any suggestion after your SR-71?
ages ago, i did and f-14 with the same colors as your first picture (sundowners), yours look a million times better. it is one of the kits i got a "pending business" in making a F14 and and F4 in light colors and do them right.... i think now i can do it 🙂

Hi! Thank you so much Spanjaard! Your kind comment is very encouraging 🙂 My SR71 is simply painted with tamiya acrylic xf-1, plus a few layers of gloss varnish (Life color). For my upcoming f117 i'll highlight some panels with a "lighter" shade of black und finish it with a dark blue Wash. The F14 sundowners shown here is just painted plainly with light gull grey by Life color, again with little gloss finish. A great Kit from Hasegawa. Good luck with your projets!!

thanks a lot for the information Vince. I think i will do some experimenting in an old kit with the blue wash to see how it goes, before i add it to my F-4J.

A year? Your joking? To have achieved that level of skill in just one year is remarkable, well done. Just as well they are all 1/72, at your rate of production you may have storage issues if they were any bigger. They are all good, but your Blackbird is exceptional good.
