Cool photo. It gives a great idea for modelers just how big that beast really was. Although we did start a rumor that the only reason the USAF inner pylon was rounded off was to keep the blood down. Any one else ever carry a clipboard, be conversing/ordering someone around behind you, and walk into one of those pylons? I guarantee you, you only do that ONCE, and then you watch where you are going from then on, lol. Skyhawk slats could bite too, if you weren't careful, but, at least those aircraft were not as Huge as the Phantom.

Ιt's very emotionally foto. Declares the relationship between the life and the machine. A great thank you from the pilot to the aircraft. We don't know between them how many times saves each other and the good and bad spending time moments .

Rex the only aircraft dimensions compared with Fantom is the A-10 and the F-14. The seat of pilot is 2.8 meters from the ground

yes, I remember. I think the Super Hornet is almost the same size, too. But, your point is correct. There is nothing else out there that said "I am a big fighter" quite like the Phantom said it.
