The "Falke" engine originally was made from a Yakult bottle and on the internet several examples can be found of scratch build examples. This is how I got the idea to try and build my own Yakult Falke style engine, just using an empty bottle and some bits and pieces.

It's still got some touching up to do and I have to weather the chain, add a figurine, etc...
I'll try to upload some more pictures later of how I actually made it and what I used.

Looks very great.
I also collect diligently things with interesting forms. Do you know a way Mech legs (in the style of a Ma.k Kröte) easy to manufacture or from what parts?

I like your build, well done. IMHO you find the right way to put your engine in to the Ma.K. world, because your engine-transmission mount fit very well. The interesting thing is the sci-fi look combined with things from WW2. Also I like your paint job and the add of the small details on the ground of your small scene 😎 👍. The chain, from which kit is it? I hope to see more from your Ma.K. work 🙂

Markus, I came across this website which features some scratch build ma.k stuff and for the legs you should look at the "Wannabe Gans" posts on this site. The Gans is simular to the Krote. It's not all in there but it will give you an idea, some of the pictures should point you in the right direction.

After I made the engine, I was thinking of a way to display it. I like to use these small glass domes as it protects the model form dust and has a base at the same time. I've also found a figurine that goes with the setup well.
The chain is just a metal/silver chain/necklace that I used to tow the bottle up, so it's hanging in the air for maintenance 🙂 The small details on the ground are the inner part of the engine, painted green with the ink of a glass marker. Think of it like it would be uranium or some other unknown fuel used in these type of engines in the Ma.K universe. The dirt was experiment of casting a kind of concrete blocks/shapes and was usefull as debris.

A necklace, interesting 👍
I think about and maybe I use it in my Neuspotter Diorame 😉

TWN, In fact now I think of it, what I made with the chain was a simple form of a pulley to hold the engine up.
I've used a long piece of left over sprue as the holding bar for the chain and simply wrapped it around until the engine was above ground.
Given the fact that the Neuspotter is an anti gravity hovering device (like the Falke) you could use some kind of leverage system to keep it of the ground.
My advice, look up "Pulley", "differential pulley" ,"chain hoist" at Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons for images.
I would use a chain (necklace) wrapped around a wheel from a 1/35 scale tank or 1/24 scale car from the spare box or a donor kit!

Hi Choppa Nutta, makes you wanna cut up a 1:48 scale helicopter kit and convert it into a mech suit !
Ofcourse with the availability of the Wave and before the Nitto kits, why scratch building a Heinrich suit.
All will depend on how much the Hughes 500 kit costed knowing the Wave kits sell for about 30 Euros.
I'm thinking more in the direction of using another helicopter instead. I'm considering using a kit that I picked up for 5 Euros last year, a Eurocopter TIGER UHU from Revell scale 1:48 , also this would become a new type of suit.

I've added some extra pictures today. I thought my little diorama could use a figurine and at last weeks fair in Wavre I acquired some 1:20 scale figurines. I've used the "Mechanic girl" standing against the post and thinking "what could be wrong with this engine". At first look I only need to cleanup the undersides of the feet. Any advice on how to paint these type of resin figurines as this will be me first one?

Scratch'n'bash building is fun, particularly with ones own designs etc. 🙂
Thought you might like to see some of my scratch built sci fi stuff 🙂

Hi Filip, I have a collection of Ma.K. websites around the world and I add some more from time to time 😉 Thank you for the suggestions to my Neuspotter, I have started it in the past, a kind of maintainace scene where I open the upper hull and I think a necklace can be a possibility to hold it.

I've added some images of the engine build pre paint, this gives a better idea of what I used to turn the simple Yakult bottle into a Ma.K Falke style engine.

Album info

Lately I've been reading a lot about Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K) ,also known as ZbV3000, on several internet sites. Until last weekend I actualy had not seen 1 Ma.K kit in a local store or on a model fair, but last Saturday (22/04/2017) I managed to buy some Ma.k related stuff at the "Mordus Du Kit" fair which took place in Wavre Belgium.

The "Falke" engine originally was made from a Yakult bottle and on the internet several examples can be found of scratch build examples. This is how I got the idea to try and build my own Yakult Falke style engine, just using an empty bottle and some bits and pieces.
