Update, I cannot work with the Mig primer. I tried it 5 kits but I do not like it. I can not create a smooth surface. And yes I thin it and spray at least 5 layers.
It does not work for me.
The blue color is Tamiya Sea blue and it will be the base for a light bluecolor.
Photo 7 shows with and without migprimer.

Told you when you had your first problems with this primer you should throw it away😄
I used the Ultimate primer on my last 4 models and i have to admit that i like it allot. Your good friend Rob sells it .
Good progress mate 👍

The car is finished!
The white color is sprayed on the rocket. Time for some masking.

Yes it is. I wonder how this will look at the end. This morbing I did some masking and applied the first layers of red.

enjoy masking, looking very good. Will you also make the boosters at the fins?

Calling this project done for the moment. My mancave will be transfered into a boysroom. End of the hobby unfortunatelly but the rocket will fly through the chamber of the little guy with a string on the ceiling.

nice model, too bad you'll have to put the hobby aside... but the children will occupy your building time with pleasure... Hope to still see some small projects in the future...

Thanx Bart!
I hope indeed that I found some time and space for the hobby. And that is the real problem, space. I do not have any room for it. My mother said that I can make a little workbench for the airbrush at her house, but it is a half hour drive. I imagine myself fully motivated in the car but when I arrive at her place the 'goesting'/lust is gone.

I'm in the same league at the moment, destroid a lot of models lately because I continuously have to transport them from my garage to home and back to be able to build an evening in the week...

Hergé used the V2 rocket as inspration for the Tintinrocket to the moon. This project will be nice to see in the new chamber of my son.
