Hello, first of all your model looks very nice. I would like to ask you how you painted the whole aircraft, meaning did you use an airbrush or did you use a spraycan? The reason I ask is because I am about to start building the AN124, as a favour to my boss. I have an airbrush but with a small paint cup. To spray the whole aircraft I would probably need several refills. And also which paint brand did you use?

Hello Genmar, thanks for your warm words! first of all i tried to brush regular Revell email colour. but the result was very frosted. so i used Tamiya white primer. afterwards i used a lot of Tamiya (TS-26) Spray can lays. for me the best solution to get a clear finish. furthermore, as this is a Revell model, i need a lot of putty and many nerves! 🙂 i hope this will help you! otherwise do not hesitate to contact me again!

Thanks for your input, it means a lot to me. I am currently mainly an 1/72 armour/aircraft modeller. So I was hesitant to do the AN124 which is a big aircraft even in scale. But I did not want to disappoint my boss so I accepted to do it. By the way I work in an avionics company which is doing software for the new cockpit for the AN124 and my boss wants a model of each plane we worked on so...
