Album info

This model of a Coastal Command Beaufighter TF.X was build from the Tamiya kit of the Beaufighter Mk.VI. To make the model more realistic I made a number of additions and modifications: cockpit from KMC (#48-4016, now available from True Details), some extra interior details (from the spare box and scratch), extra details on the engines, remove of all wing gun openings, remove of the wrong panellines on the wings and rescribe new ones, model was complete riveted, exhausts from Quickboost (#QB48043), rear vacu canopy from squadron (#9590), tyres with smooth tread from cutting edge, rear mirror on canopy and some other details as the real Aircraft from scratch, 25lb rockets from aerobonus (#480062 and a little nightmare to assemble) and some other details. The painting was done with Tamiya colors and the decals for the Beaufighter LZ451 are from Aviaeology (AOD48002m).
