Beautiful. Hope this is my next, it's been eyeing me from the shelf for a while.
Love the colour.

Thanks @Neuling. I like the Shilka. There is so many camo to choose from. And so many reference showng it in different conditions. Merits to be weathered!

Thanks @Palo oh i hope you get to start on it. Great kit by the way. Just extra cautious when using enamel-based washes.

What's the problem with enamel washes on this kit? I think I will use oil paints and pigments, but curious.

Hi @Palo. Enamel thinner, washes weakens the plastic. Plastic becomes easily breakable. Particularly small bits and details, they snap easily with slight touch. Same phenomenon with the Meng AMX-30B2 that I made

Wow, looks fantastic, the weathering is spot on, something I want to aspire too.

Thanks, @Holger and @Samuel. I like looking up at reference photos and spend hours just going though Google, Pinterest to look at how the vehicle/aircraft gets weathered. i like the challenge, but also the fun dirtying up my models LOL

The biggest PITA is the tracks. Just be patience. And to add to that the way the plastic reacts to enamel washes. It soften, cracks and breaks easily. Otherwise, the kit is gorgeous. Great fit, detail, interior, options.
