This seems to be a well constructed and very simple lay-outed kit of this good looking aircraft. Well, there is not much of detail in cockpit and wheel wells. I tried to get some life in this areas, here is the outcome.

Buddy, you got the life you wanted in the cockpit... legit awesome! Following.

beautiful cockpit... nice aircraft too... will you go for the black and white, or a more fictitious camo.

Thank you Lukasz and Bart! I will stick to the black and white camo. Well, considering the very attractive price of this project, i could imagine a second fictitious one very well!

Another one? Holy Moly..That output is just terrific! Following again for sure 👍

That is very welcome, Daniel! Here some rather unspectacular news from the "Berkut"; it will, as I guess, turn on the little more spectacular side when the all-over black has been applied!

All surfaces ready for decals! Meanwhile some wiring of the wheel struts have been done.

After a rather unspectacular construction, the "Berkut" is now finished. I can really recommend the kit! The finished Su-47 is quite a piece, which the picture with its US counterpart, the Grumman X-29, should illustrate.
That was a nice little project! Thanks to Hobby Boss for all those rather odd prototypes and rarities!

That was fast! And it is awesome as all Roland's builds are. Very well done Roland! I like the vs picture, quite a large bird she is.

Your words are pleasing and motivating me quite a lot, thank you mates!

Great finish Roland and thanks for the photo of both kits together 🙂

those russians have some pretty big aircraft... but it is for sure a very nice model...

Yep quite big. But I like those prototype jets, especially the ones with forward-swept wings. The Berkut looks interesting, I just might get me one of those now that I have time for the bench again.
Very nice and tidy job again Roland. The black paintjob looks like silky flawlessness 😛 👍
Only too bad that all the awesome detailing in the pit is rather well hidden in braillescale 🙁

Thank you all for the very welcome feedback! Oh yeah, I love the look of these forward swept wings. The Ju 287 from Planet Models would be another option I would like to build!
