All done with this one!
Took quite a while to complete this kit, a combination of being unfamiliar with building Helos compared to jets and less time of late to work on my model projects. But I am very happy with this and I look forward to getting back to my comfort zone... jets!

Great build Michael! I hope mine comes out as well. I'll definitely use yours as an example of what to strive for.

That's how an Apache should look like. I like the Arizona tail band. The only thing that looks a bit of are the completely straight main rotor blades. They should have a slight downward curve (which a pain to achieve...). Well done Michael!

Thanks Ingo, Stephan, Nathan, Konrad, Augie, Eirk, German, Clifford, and Maciej!
Nathan, when you build yours feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I will be glad to help!
Maciej, I battled internally what to do with the rotor droop. I tried that on my previous UH-60L build, and I was very unhappy with how it turned out and wished I hadn't tried to do that. So for this one I just decided to leave it as is. Maybe next time I will try again. But you are right, it is HARD to get right and easy to mess up, as I have found previously LOL.

You nailed it! It looks great! 👍
Hint for the droop: I use hot water to soften the plastic and then gently bend the rotorblades between my fingers.

looks really great, well balanced weathering & clean details, just a super-solid start-to-finish job 👍. The dark background also makes it look just that last bit cooler on the photos, do you have a pro camera or just a phone to do the job?

Thanks ice, Chris, and Slavo!
Thanks for the tip ice, I would be wise to take advice from one of Scalemates' top Helo modellers. 🙂
Slavo, I just used my Pixel 2XL cell phone for pics. I played around with the lighting and phone camera options to get different lighting effects. I am glad you like it, I thought some of them did indeed turn out pretty cool!

Great work as always Michael. Absolutely stunning finish. The only thing i would have added, is a little sag to the rotorblades.

Excellent work Mike! Impressive pre-shading and weathering. I have never seen a clean Apache, so your gentle weathering really brings out the details and colors. top-notch work, sir! K/r, Dutch
