2 SS Pz. Div. "Das Reich" use a few turreteless T-34 in Normandie, classified as "Berge T-34", first saw in Normandie in july 1944. Probably three T-34 used by repair unit.
The photos were taken by Col. J. B. Jarret (US Army Ordnance) in 1945 and they are from his collection at the Military History Institute in Carlisle Barracks, PA. The collection identifies the location as OW Ordnance # 64 Paris.
Germans Minenraumpazner III, on the background seems ex-soviet T-34. Also on the background Wespe anb Bergehetzer. US Army ordnance holding area near Paris. Probably spring of 1945.

2.SS-Pz.Div. "Das Reich" as utilizing some of its captured T-34s in June 1944 in Normandy. As I understand it, "Das Reich" was one of the few divisions to actually use quite a few captured T-34s, so many that they formed entire battalions of them. Apparently the 3./SS.Pz.Jäg.Abt. 2 was comprised of captured T-34/76c, which saw action in Normandy.
