Preliminary work in preparation for priming. I’m backdating the Tamiya Kit to reflect the AAV-7A1 configuration of the early 1980’s. I include some shots of the base, my first attempt with insulation foam. Heidi’s ride included a bunch of female midshipmen in the troop compartment who couldn’t see the vertical drop about to dump them against the forward bulkhead—a cute driver’s trick.
