Agree with Nathan, looking very nice. I have always liked that Aircraft. A C-130 on steroids. LOL.

What was the wash that you used in #28? I've never tried one but that looked great.

It's Flory Models "dark dirt" wash. A clay based wash that you cover the model in, leave to dry then remove most of it (leaving it in the panel lines and other areas) with q-tips and the like. I find it's effective and easy to use
I think Ultimate Modelling Products make a similar product

Ronan, Beautiful work. I love the colour scheme that you've chosen. I was toying with that one myself, but will probably settle for a white topped scheme. But I do like your results. Stunningly beautiful! K/r, Dutch
P.S. [And thank you for the work bench tour. I currently work on my glass topped desk, setting up and clearing my work every weekend. I store my bench queens underneath or in a credenza next to my desk. My tools and paints are in a large fishing tackle box. I long for the day when I can set up a proper model work bench with magnifying lights as you have mounted.]

Thanks Dutch! There are several white topped schemes which look very interesting on the Caracal sheet I used and I have to say the quality of the decals was generally excellent!

I usually do, but this time I didn't as I didn't want to change the look of the silver/metal areas. Yes, you have to be very careful when rubbing off the wash that you don't take the decals with it! I lifted two decals when doing this but I was able to get them back in place without damage and used Mr. Softer to get them to stick again
