added some pics of the painting process, featuring my daughter's art. Cant wait for that high demarcation line. I have also changed the name of the album to take part in the group build.

Also wanted to ask: since this is an in flight build, I am reluctant to include the propeller and just fill the nose with something as to not look empty. what do you guys think? any other ideas? thanks!

The marking masks came out fantastic. Especially considering how troublesome placing them was. On to the decals!

Hi Martin! Welcome to the group build. Considering in flight prop birds; I once sandwiched a clear disk between two spinner parts when I was a teenager. It looked OK back then, but that was before I owned an airbrush. For a planned Mustang build I'm planning on the same, but then add faint blurs with my airbrush. For a FW-190 build I'm thinking of your approach as the propeller is one part with the spinner and riddled with mold shift lines. I want to graft the spinner from plastic tubes and just stick it on. Looking at pictures of those planes in flight, it will just look the part. Just put your spinner on and see if it feels good to you, otherwise an acetate disk might be an idea.
