Liferaft holders and upper mast. Soldered together because believe it or not, but it works better that way then glueing, at least for me...

Same for these small reinforcements... it was more easy to solder these parts then to try to glue these

In the last second, while treating with decal setting... some slight movement... darn....
So... rigging... tried it first with streched sprue... way to thick according to a friend, and guess what, he was right.
So next attempt with the ultra fine wire from Ushi... works like a charm, and looks good to, but boy, that's time consuming...
so bit by bit with tiny drops of superglue
result...

Bart GoesaertStarted this one this weekend. First time for placing railings etc... Kit seems ok, the etched railings need some scraping, because they have some burrs from the etching process

Bart Goesaertsome small progress yesterday, adding more detail. Think I'll need to apply some paint first before continuing... looks like an opposite world to me... connecting the small PE-parts together works for me more easy using the soldering iron then glue...

Bart GoesaertAdded some handrail on top of the steering house and the tube for watercoolant to the barrel of the 100mm gun. Paint is on the main parts, looks pretty dull now, but few other colors need to be applied. These ships are pretty uniform, and also pretty new, so not that much weathering. Also noticed that the platform for the CIWS needs another coat.

Bart GoesaertRigging is on... let me know what you think. A small touch up needs to be done to the paintwork. It worked fine with the superglue, but then there's that moment that everything sticks to the glue except the wire...
