At first, I passed this on over without looking at the pictures because I thought the first one was an actual photo from the war! Astonishing!

Wonderful dio! I'm building de roden M43 at the moment and it's not a quick build. Chassis en engine goes together very well but the rest needs a lot of dryfitting. Even the very old italeri jeep kit looks nice!

Thank you mates! Glad I don´t work only for the hobby room shelf! - Mark, it´s true, the M 43 needed some bending, stretching, filling and sanding. In the end it´s a rewarding kit though.

Impressive! Besides great modelling skills the load of detail is amazing. Presentation, as usual, is excellent as well.

@Neuling, good point, but I´m afraid if Hawkeye would drunk Becherovka in such amount he will never be able to work:-D. It is my own experience. After a long night with Becherovka 30 years ago I´m not able even to smell it nor to drink untill now🙁.
But your dio is really nice even without Hawkeye.

Thank you mates! - David, I also am not much of a Becherovka drinker. I prefer Plzen pivo and Karlovy Vary oplatky.

Thank you mates! - David, my hometown Regensburg is only 80 km away form the Czech border (we felt a little tense in 68) and Plzen is our twin city. So since the fall of the Iron Curtain there is a very good neighborhood and I have been over there many times. - Dominik, I have around 20 kits in my stash (among them some very old ones), 40 figure kits and 20 kits with diorama accessories. I have only a small showcase in my working room. Most of my dios are stashed in dust proof plastic boxes piled up in the loft.

I know Regensburg, it was the first town after iron courtain fall I've visited and I remember the shock in first modellers shop in the western Europe. I know that Regensburg is the gate to Bohemia and in the old medieval times there was also biscup for Bohemian countries. Nice historical city.

The level of detail, as always, is a feast for the eyes. I could repeat this comment many times but this stood out for some reason.

Lovely dio, Neuling. Regensburg. Did you have a division of ICI there? I seem to remember manufacturing Maranyl at ICI Cassel Works for a Plant there. Again, I concur with Mr James the level of detail is spot on, just brilliant work as always. 🤟🥸🤘

Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) Used to be one of the big global chemical industries. Maranyl was an engineering plastic derived from Nylon (PA6) I was a Process Operator there.

Mark, I did not find out anything about a plant of ICI at Regensburg. What I found out is that ICI products with the brand names Hammerite, Dulux, Xyladecor and Molto are sold here.

Ah, okay. It may have been an end user. We sent our last 30,000 Ton there in 1993 before the plant was closed by Dupont.
