Thnx! You're right about the seam. The whole of the surface seems to have some structure on it. I didn't notice until the primer, so I sanded it. This kit was sort of a quicky.

Looks good regardless 😄
I screwed up using Vellejo acrylic on it - not really a filler you can sand - was my first time using it.. Need to edge-of-knife that off and go with my usual Green Stuff then Mr Surfacer combo.

The instructions said Russian Green, so I searched my paint stock. I only wanted to use what I had and by chance I had precisely the required paint, Vallejo Interior Green. I pre shaded the launcher with black and various hues of the interior green (mixed with black or white). Then thin layers of diluted green (mixed with a little white for scale effect). That was the base on which I filtered and weathered and accentuated.
