Quite surprised by good fit, goes fast and well together.
Just watch out: the plastic is really soft.

Fenders are riddled with pin ejector marks but too nothing horrifiying.
Do not drill the wholes according to the instructions, around 50% are off placed,...

Warning this is the biggest garbage you can buy.
Extremly brittle and breaks. Save yourself the headache.

Take your time with the turret,
mine was not warped or damaged.
Just watch out this styrene does not like being bent or manipulated in any other cruder way.

Miniart does love its sprue gates & microscopic small parts. (Yellow crate: 14 parts each 3 gates...)
After roughly 80h of blood, sweat & tears.
Trying a new approach on coloration. ???? wish me luck.
a bit refined with matt white
Preshading comes pretty handy in paint built up.
Tamiya & Mr. Leveling thinner makes this a walk in the park.
Don't worry about spitters or paint drops just accept the magic of MLT as lord an saviour!

Forgot something,...
... after I forgot some ISO in my Airbrush and like the whole paint of the turret melted away.
I would call this a pretty decent rescue & comeback.
Never ever forget alcohol in your AB!

Attempted to modulate RAL7008 as well.
But tbh its quite complicated so I settled for a simpler solution.

The outlines drawn for the camo pattern using a simple pencil proved to be the wrong approach.
Could not erase or remove them.
Had to strip the paint from the whole turret and parts of the hull.

After 3 mistakes & repaints, airbrush bootcamp is done.
Finally to the funnier parts.
- do not forget ISO in your airbrush
- do not use a pencil to draw the camo sceme

HO shops at least still around, Sand assortments are on point.
So many choices to ruin your built : )
Tritonal filter seems ideal before oils, nice matching brown hue.

Adding some oils after clearcoat settled for 48h.
And again, trash clamps did not fail to disappoint: one of the jack clamps broke and took a flight just to disappear into nirvana. ...
Quiz question:
1. search it like a madmen?
2. break of the other one and settle for the kits part
3. more tarps to cover up

Oddly satisfactory: simple washes
No single rivet remained untouched, at least I hope so.
Applied metallic silver on some welds & wheels prior to wash/ graphite.
rear welds got the full “shiny” appearance, stowage soon to follow.
Chipping the ultimate hand-eye challenger
Barely managed to get the “fake shadows” with oils done.
Either it leaves and ugly stain or gets completely wiped away.

Mapped all chips on the kit.
Mix of acrylic & oil paints to get the effect of quite a lot of fine chips all over the kit.

Not shure about the rust effect on the exhausts, might rework it.
Chipping like a madmen ; )
Entering the stage of “eye bleeding” ?
Spare tracks in the making.

Nice: 3D-printed tool-clamps, they look very good! What it is like to work with them? Easier than PE ones?

The clamps are honestly pure trash, they came broke, broke while handling on every occasion and strangly two of them started partially dissolving when using debonder.
Just avoid them to save yourself from headache. They are unfortunately a waste of money & time.
If you can get your hands on some MJ Miniatures clamps use them, way more stable material.

Really nice work so far. I quit building aircraft models because I got sick of holding airbrush that much, so respect for airbrushing job. Hope all that pre-shading and careful paintig will be visible after weathering.

@Vladimir, thank you much appreciated! Its my second tryout.
It is quite tricky with those vehicles and the clusters of small parts.
First round of RAL 8000 done, RAL 7008 will be the real challenge.

@Spanjaard,
I must admit I prefer cheap kits over overpriced, reboxed ones and the option to improve & tweak them too. ; )
