Rebels Mining Guild TIE Fighter
A couple of left-over wing castings from the Rebels TIE Fighter build had sections cut out and a strip of styrene glued onto the cut edge as detail. Here they are, already painted black, masked, and painted Tamiya Haze Grey
Made a new piece for the back of the cockpit, which came out better than the earlier one for the Fighter
Then on to the pilot - I started out with a casting of the Greedo figure from the AMT Cantina kit. I repositioned his legs (he was doing a bit of man-spreading), and filled in the open space between his jacket on the front.
Then a helmet was made using Aves putty.
After a bit of tidying up and white primer - right side view
Left side view of the modified pilot
Pilot painted in Mining Guild uniform
And installed in cockpit, sitting on a cast of a Fine Molds seat, as the Revell one (and the pilot) are way too big.
Got some decals from JBOT, scaled to the wing size of my version and put them on. Managed to put the danger stripe decals on the wrong wings but too late now...
Cockpit installed in the cut-down Revell TIE Fighter ball with some Uschi flexible nose weight under the cockpit to (hopefully) counterweight the unbalanced wings
Arms and modified top added to the ball. The arms are extra copies of the ones cast for the Rebels TIE Fighter build.

Another original Star Wars creation! I'll take my usual seat at the Cantina bar..

Album info
After finishing the Rebels TIE Fighter I had some leftover casting of the wings and the pylons, so why not build the mining guild version of the TIE Fighter, as seen in Series 2 of Rebels. This one will also be based on the cockpit ball from the Revell TIE Fighter
