Album image #5
You can see the back plate has far too large a gap in the key - should have been a warning

Album image #6
Some panel lines that shouldn’t be panel lines filled. One from the rear of the side window already removed

Album image #7
I believe the scoop on the les man 2008 version was filled in and air fix provide a clear filler part but don’t really explain what or why it’s there, seen photo to surge at it’s a carbon fibre fillet

Album image #8

Bit of fun with this one, fingers crossed. Going to have a go at detailing the cockpit but if it doesn't work out it won't be show here😉

Having fun with this although getting the right looking blue is harder than it should be 🙂

This blue color is difficult for me too. How did you achieve it?

Thanks for the tip @Martin will remember for next time as it looks the business 🙂
@Jivko the first on is almost 50:50 AV model air 71089 and white, for the lighter blue I added more white so it's at least 40:60 blue:white

@Jivko found a note I made about the colour mixes, can find the original source but it said the blue should be 5 white and 2 blue which is 60:40 white: blue I think. The orange is 2:1 yellow (71002): orange (71083) again AV vallejo model air

@Sy I solved the problem in another way. A friend of mine who works at a large printing house will make a mixture for me. And it's available: H-045 Gloss Light Blue - Mr. Color

Cheers for info. I've discovered while my orange looks ok on kit it's too deep for the decals match so I've cut out parts on the orange decal and added to kit, does mean I've had to print off some of my own fixes. Will add photos soon

My decals have worked well and I'm pleased with the results. Time to sort out the head lights then polish the body

Finally got to add a few of my own bits to the tub. I think that'll do, as much more will not be seen.

That's it for this build, a few areas I could improve but you have to call it a day and if I do the other one in my stash I'll know what I'm doing abs would defiantly attempt to open the drivers door!

I've enjoyed this kit forts car since I was a kid. I also learnt how to use a few apps ( Inkscape, gimp and fusion 360) to a fashion and 3D printed my first bits so a whole lot of learning too. ?
