Hello colleagues and welcome to the MiG 31 🙂

a few words about "marble" aging as a pre-painting,
I used a black from the school painting kit
Spread on pure, untreated plastic (do not degrease, wash or clean !!!) diluted with water, the tension in the water pulls it back and it results in a marbling depending on how thick the watercolor was mixed, then let it dry and varnish with colors that are not very hiding.
MRP Color can be used directly, Gunze Mr. Color (C - coded color) should be diluted 5 - 8 times, Gunze Hobby Color (H - coded) 3 - 6 times would certainly be sufficient
the effects can then be influenced or weakened again with the covering color

Hello Clifford, I am pleased that you are with us 🙂 the weather makes me stay at the workbench, and yet my Yamaha is getting its kilometers 🙂 since February 20th it has become 8000, fun for supplies, good exhibitions ( Cottbus, Gatow etc.) and many visits to model making colleagues ensure that the head needs oxygen to function 😉

Thanks John 🙂 the base of AMK is a dream, I have never had such a perfect kit on the table, everything fits, the division is well thought out, even the decals are sorted by zone and sorted by position on the carrier film, a real dream 👍 some work remains, but that's really real model building fun 🙂
