Panzer IV/70 (A)
Some etched parts have been put, but more are coming
It is a pleasure to look at the fire extinguisher
I will add the support for the gun and the front will be ready for painting
The light is extremely detailed
The back fenders also fit very well
The tracks and wheels are glued together. Can you spot where the 3 joints are?
All wheels painted and ready for installment
The level of detailing is amazing.
The fit is very nice, especially I liked how the photoetched fender fitted with the resin one
All wheels ready for painting
The tiny photoetch things that limit the course of the suspension look very nice, I hope they will be visible after I put all the wheels and side armor.
I noticed that on the front plate, it is a little bit protruded. In the real machines, the front armor plate on the main hull going thicker and thicker with the later versions of Pz IV's (Stugs and III's also) and the stand on which the hull is assembled not changing, this protrusion becomes visible. No other manufacturer to my knowledge has depicted this correctly in 72 or 35 scale, so kudos to the OKB Grigorov's team for this
I was pleasantly surprised to see 10 shells for the main gun included in the box.
Тhe instruction sheets are too many, not so common for OKB Grigorov's kits
