Zumbach's Auster Mk.III MT440
Very rudimentary kit with relatively few pieces. Quick build hopefully.
Given a coat of Vallejo Air Dk Brown
Wings, stabilisers and landing struts attached. Quite a challenge given there are no slots, holes or indications as to where and how. Wheels and prop separate. Managed to snap the wing struts more than once and so will need replacing.
Full coat and masking for Vallejo Dk Green.
Disaster! Some sort of blockage turned my airbrush into a spitting monster and the results were terribly lumpy. Started to sand back to repair but…
… have now gone all the way back to AK base and micro filler. Restart required. So much for a quick build.

Sad news, but I hope it'll turn out fine now.
As the Germans say: Restart tut immer gut! (Restart always does good) 👍

Thanks mates, and welcome. Lukasz let's hope it comes good. I nearly threw it in the bin but there are so few Auster kits available anywhere I thought I should persevere 👍

Very basic AZ kit nothing in the cockpit and so have scratched up a few bits. Forgot to take a photo though but there's plenty of 'glass' under the masks so hopefully might see something in due course. It's not elegant anyway.
