Those metal helmets would look a lot less shiny I think (less visible) if they slapped some mud around it I think. But ofc, moving around in the terrain is what makes one easily detectable to the human eye.
Like with all figure heavy dioramas, it sort of looks expensive if buying custo resin figure and stuff.
Speaking of figures, I do see that in 1:350 scale they are now selling 3d figures (not just flat photo etch figures) for ships, in both pre-painted and unpainted version (cheaper).
