The next project is Hans Dortenmann's Black 1, W.Nr. 210003 from February 1945.
The office is complete. The office used mostly kit parts plus the Aires seat, HGW seatbelts, and the Yahu instrument panel. I also added some Airscale Luftwaffe cockpit placards to the side panels for some added detail. I used Mr. Color paints with some dark brown and black pastel washes for weathering as well as colored pencils for chips and scratches.

Thanks all for the comments. Much appreciated. The main construction of the fuselage and wings is now complete.
The kit's gun cover contour was extensively reworked with Milliput and Mr. Surfacer to more accurately reflect the correct shape. The Eduard flap upgrade and the landing gear bay upgrade are also now installed as well. Work continues.
Thanks for looking.

The main build is now complete. I've also primed with Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500. The wing root areas required a bit of fill and sanding but they came out fine. I've also removed the detail from the fabric control surfaces in preparation for the HGW decals. There's a first time for everything. Thanks for looking.

Got a good chunk of painting done this weekend. RLM 76 was first - with some post-fading and shading, followed by a blending layer. Next, the tail was painted RLM 04 and masked. The areas for the markings were masked prior to painting the yellow. RLM 82 on the wings was next. Since it was a fresh coat of paint over the RLM 75, I moderated the fading and shading for now. Progress will continue shortly with RLM 83 on the wings. Thanks for looking. Comments and critiques are always welcome.
