Got the engine together and added some simple wiring. Some photos online it's visible and some it's under a cover so I just chose to show it to add something to the engine, which in photos appears to be mostly black. Also started on the suspension on the floor and bottom of the monocoque

Progress made. Interior of the tub together and decaled. Basically the monocoque is finished. Did some dry fitting to check fitment and to see how its looking. Pretty solid fitting kit that I have few complaints about so far.

Chassis completed finished up. Working on some final wing and body assembly. Dry fit the body over the completed chassis and it's looking good. Everything has fit really well with this kit.

Finish line is fast approaching now as we even have most of the decals, wings and tires. Final photos coming soon!

Did you use the raised chevrons or sand them downI? I see an upside to both.Centering those things is such a headache........rrrrrrrr........"challenge".

Bossy I attempted the decals with the raised bits…not entirely sure that was the move as it is still not quite in line with them. But, oh well. I have managed to fumble more than one decal on this kit. 😂 Still happy with how the kit has gone.

Finished this up this morning. I found it to be a really nice kit. Everything fit really well. Some nice details molded in and some nice details included in the decals, including the Tag-Porsche lettering on the engine. Pretty happy with it, although I somehow managed to pull what I always do and bumped the decal on the right wing end plate. Never fails. Enjoyable build though!

Incidentally this was out of the box other than adding ignition wiring and Marlboro fill in decals. Everything else is as it comes.

I got a nunu kit, wondering if its like the quality of meng and tamiya or more like a revell-italeri regarding quality, fitting etc.

Phil, I don't know about other nunu kits, as I don't have any. This appears to be old Beemax plastic according to the markings on the trees and it is comparable to a Tamiya F1 kit. From the jump everything fit together just as it should.

Picked this kit up awhile ago. It’s the old Beemax kit. I’m going to take advantage of the decal options to build the yellow McLaren. 1 because there’s only one yellow McLaren so I won’t have the opportunity again. 2 because I’ve never been a Prost fan.
