Awesome looking Leo Murad!
I love the grungy, grimy look that you've achieved on the paintwork, as well as the light dust build up and exhaust staining.
Nice and subtle. 👍

Great build of an old kit. Perfect weathering (to my taste anyway) not too clean, not hidden beneath a coat of mud. Great depth on the paint as well. Single colors can actually be challenging to make interesting but you did a nice job. 👍 The lenses are a really nice touch.

Rui, James and John thank you all for your comments.
hardest part was the photoetch and i questioned my choice in the end. i mean pe work is usually fiddly to begin with but the kit being old meant it had to go a ton of surgery to prep for the pe parts, on top of this eduard's set wasn't perfect also - had to omit a good bit of the pe parts.
as for the monotone color it was problematic to weather, i might have practically painted the kit almost twice, second iteration was with diluted base coat to knock down/blend the weathering back here and there for oils didn't want to play ball for some reason...they were either ineffective or over the top with no in between. oh well, live and learn, onto the next project. 🙂

I'm still learning the secrets of oils myself. They're not as easy as it seems that's for sure. Learning something from each build is definitely what it's all about. 👍
