I overpainted all the white portions of the decals with white paint in order to boost their opacity and give them a bit more of a "raw" hand-painted feel to them
I've always wanted to build a 1:20 SAFS, so when I heard it announced that Wave was going to be rereleasing its Raccoon kit with all the parts necessary to build a standard SAFS, I knew I had to pick the kit up. The kit was built out of the box except for the radio antenna, which I made from an acupuncture needle. The kit was both airbrushed and hand painted with Tamiya and Vallejo paints respectively.
