I like the i8. The design is kind a cool. If you follow all the lins, you can understand, what the designer thought. Somehow. All those lines make the i8 interessting for me - so I built one a couple of years ago. Your kit is pretty. Defenitally ok. Color, interior: well done. The interior is (on my point of view) the best color scheme für it.
One thing that is not your fault: the license plate you have chosen is not for passenger cars at all. The "B" is only assigned to trucks. For this reason, a passenger car would generally not have the letter "B" in the first position (of the letters). I know it's sophistry. But that's exactly why almost all Ferraris are on the road as tractors - because here the "F" is assigned to the tractors.
I hate this "the license plates have to have something to do with the car +lol+" philosophy of the manufacturer. I often "scolded" Revell and also offered to check completely impartially whether the desired license plate would have been feasible for the car - before the decals are printed.
By the way, to dig a little deeper into license plates: the "8-AAA-88" scheme was issued in 2013/2014. This corresponds to the production time of the real car 😉

Thanks for the input. I would also prefer a "normal" license plate, but at the end I went after the color, Dutch plates give this extra contrast...
All in all it was a good kit, detailed and at the same time I got an idea about the interesting design of the car. It's a petty that it got discontinued, BMW got lost into pleasing the Chinese market, and thus producing some hideous cars in my opinion.

@Valsador ... I totally agree. When the i8 hit the market, I didn't like I - also based on the aggressive advertisment on tv which gave me the taste, that BMW has been invented the hybrid by them self.
But then I got the kit as a present and had to built it for myself. I went to the BMW dealer with a friend of mine (he gave his car for service and I had to take him back to work) and there was an i8 in the showroom. I took the chance to take a look at it. That was the moment, I followed all the lines to understand, how I want to paint it as near as I could to the original. From this day on, I liked that car for it's beautiful design.
Your decision for the yellow plate is cool! You did gave it the point on the I 😉
