Ah, we probably do not talk about the same thing. I referred to the speedbrakes, that are located at the bottom and underside of the wings and look like grits. You probably talk about the flaps at the end of the wings. I just checked the instructions of your kit and - contrary to the ArmaHobby Iskra-kit I have - there is no second PE fret with the speed brakes. Sorry for the confusion.

You're right, I misunderstood the question, sorry. I leave the speedbrakes unchanged, because unfortunately aftermarket PE is not available either.

I started to build the Deluxe Set and there they are part of a second PE fret - together with nice border layer fences. So in case you are interested in these details (for a future build, of cause) this is the kit to go for.
