I'm building this kit for a Group Build over on Britmodeller that covers Prototype, Experimental, and Record Breaker subjects. The Curtiss-Wright XF15C-1 was a mixed propulsion prototype fighter that flew right at the end of WWII in February 1945. It had a P&W R2800 radial engine up front and a license built de Havilland Goblin jet engine in the back. It was not ordered into production - the USN chose the Ryan FR Fireball instead.
