For a diorama consisting of HMAS Sydney's forward turret section & overlooking bridge with the 2F.1 sat atop the cannon, ready for launch. Specifically, the serial is for the ships camel flown by Albert Cyril Sharwood, which on the 1st June 1918 is recorded to have launched from HMAS Sydney (1912 version) in pursuit of three German seaplanes with one unofficial kill against a single seater. The camel then ditched in the sea for collection by HMS Sharpshooter, but was later written off. Albert's success of "probably" being the first to launch a ship-borne Camel 2F.1 from a platform aboard a turret (N6635, 27th Feb 1918) helped lay a legacy of naval launches that has spanned a century of success.
