1990 Mark Martin #6 Folger's Ford Thunderbird

This car is to commemorate, in my opinion, Mark Martin's best chance at winning a NASCAR Cup Series Championship and one of his best seasons in the Cup series. He raced for Roush Racing and had Robin Pemberton as his crew chief this year. He would win 3 races, the most notable being the race at Richmond early in the year. The race inspection afterward would result in a highly controversial penalty that would ultimately cause Martin to lose the championship to Dale Earnhardt. He would have 16 Top 5s, 23 Top 10s, and 4 Poles in 1990. Although he didn't lead much he had an impressive average finish of 6th Place.
