Mirage Hobby Subs 1/400

U-875
World War 2- Scale:
- 1:400

- Completed
I got hold of some cheap Mirage Hobby subs and tried to also get the photo etch parts, but they seem very hard to find. In the end I used Tom's Hardware's set for Type VII and used some parts also for the Type IX's. For the railing I used Aber's ship railing in 1/400. I wanted to see if I could make these into something that looked a bit better than I initially thought.

Got this and some other Mirage subs for free. Since they completely lack railings I thought a PE set was needed and luckily (through Scalemates of course) I found Tom's hardware set and looks quite good. Yes some detail is lacking but at 1/400 that could be expected.
