Clear Prop!

Created specifically for the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race from Great Britain to Australia. Three planes were built for three private entrants and I will be building the bright red version that won the race. Airfix had this plane in their catalogue when I was young, but I had zero interest then. Now it seems like an ideal addition to my speed demons collection. Its a very elegant design and de Havilland's use of a stressed skin, low wing, twin engined configuration with retractable undercarriage and enclosed cockpit would later be used in such classics as the Mosquito and Hornet. I'm hoping the brand new ClearProp kit will do the original justice.
