La Renommee

This is a really beautiful subject and kit from Euromodel. After a little research, I (and others) think this ship is not a French ship but a Swedish privateer Jupiter. Plans for this ship can be found on Plates XXXI and XXXII of Fredrik Henrik af Chapman's Architectura Navalis Mercatoria.

Like some of my current builds, I plan to build this ship using nicer woods, including walnut, padouk, cherry, and boxwood.
