Having taken several years sourcing these kits, this is a long overdue project that has at last made it's way to the bench. I will be building a fleet of sixteen 1982 Nissan Skyline (R30) patrol cars from the Miyazaki Prefectural Police (?????). Planned are 13 marked units and 3 unmarked units. They will be circa Autumn 1986, so will have varied amount of weathering mainly on the chassis depicting 3-4 years of service. They will be built mostly OOB with most police equipment being used from Fujimi's accessories set. Other items I will duplicate from resin, including Aoshima's Nissan steel wheels (you didn't just read that bit).

16? Once you're finished you'll have to change your name to Nissan Factory! Wish you a steady hand and patience for your project.

Especially when it comes time for the Bare Metal Foil (am NOT looking forward to that process)!
