Westland Wessex HAS.3 Royal Navy

Quite an old sprues but more or less fresh model from Italeri. It is not accurate in details (wrong size and direction of the tail rotor, empty interior, missing exterior details like wiring, no ordnance, etc.) but the Royal Navy HAS.3 is a vivid and beautiful bird.

I combined masks from two vendors and added resin/rubber wheels from Equipage.

I've built the interior quite fast and applied masks attentively, but later on the building did not run well. Something with my airbrush caused unexpected "sharkskin" effect which I didn't manage to handle. For the glossy finish it was almost fatal... Well, next time I will pay more attention to this.
