The aircraft is very interesting for preserving diversity of your collection. It is quite exotic in that it resembles MiG-31 by its size and exterior but is a counterpart of Su-24/Su-34 and maybe F-111. It was as a heavy fighter/interceptor and at the same time as a maritime aircraft and a strike fighter/bomber.
The model from Trumpeter is 10 years old, has a good fit but lacks some critical detail. The landing gear and wheel wells are the most detailed, but wings, engines, air intakes, and ordnance are just sketchy. The most challenging is to mix the right exterior color: I used ADC Gray FS36473 and Blue Gray FS35237 and mixed in 4:1 proportion.
