Nice one Tim, so are building the freshly stolen or the wrecked version ?
I think the real car still exists.

Lol Bob! Slightly different kit. Nigel, my 1st thought was doing a dio of the ending car wash scene, making the exit of the car wash and the car. Then I was getting frustrated with trying to get the details right and started thinking of doing the wrecked version! I'm not sure if I can correct the hood issue. so... to be honest I'm undecided right now. Note: They used 2 cars for this, the fresh car at the end and the trashed version which is in some car museum.

Decision made! After spending 2hrs in trying to correct the hood, which still won't be totally correct and I'm only 1/3rd done and realizing it will take another 8-10 hrs to get it there, as well as working on making the rims, and looking at what it would take to do the wrecked version, I will be doing the car wash scene at the end of the movie.

Fantastic Bob. There is a truck show in Italy where they do something similar only with more water and shampoo !!

That it is Nigel! I could no way afford that! I'll be making about the last 6 inches of one with hopefully the first 3 inches of a car in it near the end of it's wash and Eleanor in front dry and ready to go. At least that's what my minds eye says!
