How is the quality of this kit? A friend of mine bought one and was very disappointed...

Hi ! well.. It's not so bad ! As a matter of fact I put it under Euromodel Brand but mine has a little sheet of paper stating Schatton Modellbau inside the box (but I never found this item on Their site). The reason I put It under Euromodel Brand is because i found pictures of all the resin parts in the web, exactly the same i had in my box (apart from the gun which was turned metal for Euromodel it seems and mine is resin). I found the detailing of the seat for the gunner is nice. The gun road support had to be rebuilt in metal rod because my item was broken (the box i bought was very old and not new). The same had to be done for the 4 rods that support the gun from the main platform). My box lacked of decals but it's not a big deal so many spare I have... I had to find the building picture on the web cause mine was unreadable...so.. not so bad a resin kit with a lot of research to be able to understand what parts has to be glued with. 🙂 I could upload picture of it but it is still not finished..cause i fucked the paint and ... decided to go on another model before having enough will to unpaint it all 🙂

camo looks nice though, but you will have your reasons. Thanks for the extra info. In regard to the decals... that is something I will never understand. People pay a lot (compared to other kits) and the manufacturers don't include even some basic decals... which can be a real pain to find, especially in 1/72 when you're not building WWII armor..
