Though the "official" final F-14 flight was September 22, 2006 at the Sunset Ceremony, the actual final flight of a USN Tomcat was on October 4, 2006 when F-14D BuNo 164603 was ferried from NAS Oceana to Republic Airport in Farmingdale, NY.
