Back to the Bench, Tamiya Sherman M4A3 OG kit. This has been sitting on the "Shelf of Doom". Kit turret had a cast texture added with liquid glue, added a few elements with styrene rod and strip. Kit tracks and decals were used. Kit was black based with Tamiya Flat black, Tamiya Olive Drab, Tamiya gloss. I'm thinking of doing a Winter Diorama for this one, I'm using the last picture as inspiration. Going to be busting out the hairspray for the winter washing.

Back to the Bench. started removing the whitewash. This took about about an hour or about 10 songs. This is the second time I have tried this, I have a German Halftrack that I tried this but not on the entire model. If you try this, here are my suggestions. Study references so you understand wear and tear. Work on small areas, don't try to do the whole body and go in a direction CW or CCW, move your wet brush in a top to bottom direction, just like gravity. I used three different brushes, soft 1/4" wide, 1/4" and 1/8" wide bristle for scrubbing and scratches. Next will be a light gloss coat to do some washes and filters to get it dirtied up.
