Why 1/32? Why not 1/35? Argh! So disappointing. Still, it's fictional so it only needs to be close, but Star Wars vehicles in 1/35 feels like a Holy Grail series to me; armor modeler's spares boxes would rejoice at the opportunities!

in terms of scale i wouldn't trust anything written on official sites as most of that was made up by west end games in the 80s (and is shockingly bad -some of their scaling is ludicrous you can work out the size of a star destroyer by the size of the Falcon on the rear of the bridge in ESB and the size of the Rebel Blockake runner by the size of the escape pods in the desert ) ...... Joe Johnson during production did a scale diagram which is published in the star wars chronicles book which is the definative guide

I mean i think 1:32 is pretty reasonable. I can imagine most modellers who build 1:32-ish scale models would appreciate it if it would fit in with the rest of their models. Also targeting that small demographic of people who use 1:35 armor and 1:35 planes in the same moc would just be a waste of money for the company

This looks a lot like the ICM set 35647 (icm.com.ua/figure/wwii-french-tank-crew/) Maybe its a rebox?

Is there a way on Scalemates to figure out if a kit in someone's stash is for sale? Thanks.

If you navigate to a kit page, those that have it in their stash and marked for sale will be listed in the Marketplace section of the page. You can also see a member's item for sale by clicking on their For Sale tab.
