Very nice Chris! Great work on this one.
Building currently the same kit. How is your opinion on this kit?

Hi Konrad, thanks. It was my first model after about 20 years of abstinence from plastic models. I had some issues with the air intakes, they were awful. If you decide to build the flaps in lowered position like me, they need to be shortened - otherwise they can't be installed. The canopy cannot be closed (see pictures) - I haven't figured out yet why. For painting it was closed - after this I installed the locking mechanism - maybe thats the problem and there is a clash somewhere... The wheels are terrible - I recommend aftermarket wheels. And the decals at the horizontal stabilisier are a bit tricky. They are a bit too large to the front. The left one got markings for cutouts for those little thingies - the right one does not have them. Transfer them from the left one.
But in the end you got a nice looking Tornado from JaBoG 33 in Büchel (now TaktLwG 33). Have fun, Chris

Thanks for your explanations. Yeah there are some fit issues 🙂!
I'll show the flaps also in lowered position. But I've choose a common three tone camo with complete weapons load. At the moment I'm on the priming process.
By the way you've done a great job on a not so easy kit after 20 years of modelling abstinente 👍!
