Personal interest:
This model represents an Iraqi PRV-16 radar. The PRV-16 was a nodding height finder radar, used in conjunction with 2D early warning radars to formulate 3D target information. Iraqi PRV-16 radars were typically paired with P-12 Radars situated outside the no-fly zones. PRV-16 operators were able to pass target information to SAM batteries that threatened Operation Southern Watch aircrews.
